Dell computers ship with a host of Dell branded software. Much of it can break things like network connectivity and microphone functionality. Most of the software is easy to remove, but Trend Micro is not.
To remove Trend Micro locked behind a password, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Agent in an elevated command prompt. Type "ntrmv -980223", and await uninstallation.
