Brother printer states "Replace Drum", or "Replace Toner", after part replacement

Brother printer error for toner replacement/drum replacement, immediately after replacing said component. Resetting counters solves issue.

2. COPY mode
3. Press STOP/EXIT, press CLEAR simultaneously
4. Press CLEAR
5. Select toner, HC is High Capacity
6. Reset
DRUM
1. Cover shut
2. OK and UP simultaneously
3. Select Drum
4. Reset
