OLD / HIDDEN METHOD


1. Open Excel, start with a blank sheet


2. File > More... > Options


3. Data > Show Legacy Data Import Wizards section > Enable Microsoft Query (Legacy) option


4. Exit options, exit File


5. Data > Get Data > Legacy Wizards > From Microsoft Query (Legacy)


6. CrystalSQLServer option > ok


7. Enter "reports" for both username and password






NEW / POWER QUERY / WORSE METHOD


1. Open Excel, start with a blank sheet


2. Data > Get Data > From Database > From SQL Server Database


3. Fill Server and DB fields depending on the chart -

4. Move down to the Database tab on the left, off of the Windows tab


5. Enter logon credentials reports/reports, connect


6. Hit 'OK' for error box noting lack of encryption 


7. Choose desired fields,
